High Purity 3D Printing Powder 15-5 Stainless Steel Powder

Posted on 2022-12-18 By admin

3D printing of thin-walled and complicated parts is possible with 15-5 metal dust.
Concerning 3D Printing Powder 15-5 Stainless Steel Powder
Stainless Steel 15-5 is a popular metal powder that is used to 3D print thin-walled devices, complex parts, and hot and cold spraying. It has good corrosion resistance at 600°F (316°C), and is tough in the longitudinal and transverse portions of both base metals and welds.
The 15-5PH stainlesssteel is pre-alloyed fine, powder stainless steel. This steel features excellent corrosion resistance and other mechanical properties. This kind of steel is used extensively in metal prototyping. It can also be used in various medical, aerospace, and engineering applications that need high hardness and strength.
The 15-5ph alloys contain a lower amount of copper than 17-4PH. These alloys can be used in metal injection molding to decrease copper loss and improve hardness. Cu can evaporate during sintering, which is one potential problem with 17-4PH. To avoid cross-contamination, it is possible that furnaces need to be regularly cleaned. In a certain sense, the 15-5pH current study was started with these considerations in mind.
A stainless steel of 15-5 pH is a martensitic precipitate hardened stainless steel that has 15% chromium, 5% nickel. The steel has excellent strength and hardness, as well as corrosion resistance. You can increase the strength by using low-temperature heating. This pH is superior to 17-4. It also has higher lateral toughness, ductility and mechanical properties. It can be welded easily. It is easy to weld.

How 3D printing powder 15-5 Stainless steel Powder is produced?
The stainless steel 15-5PH is an upgrade of 17-4PH which was created in the 1960s. This remelting process produced a more fine microstructure. The material is more durable because of its fine structure. The material can be used in many industries due to its low temperature hardening, excellent manufacturing performance and outstanding corrosion resistance. The material can also be used in either a final heat treating or solution annealing condition. You can increase the material’s strength and ductility by heating it at different temperatures.
Any condition can be applied to 15-5PH stainless. The first step is to allow the alloy to form slightly in the conditions of averaging. Next, it is welded with welding techniques like protective fusion or resistance. Heat treatment was performed at 1038°C (1900°F), for 1/2 hour. Then, the material is cooled with air. Hot working is next followed by annealing at 1910°F for 1 hour and then cold work to improve the alloy’s yield strengths.

The 15-5PH stainlesssteel can be used to resolve or heat treat conditions for different properties. Although there are many options, H1150m can be used to achieve the most reliable service.
Aircraft, parts and components of aircraft, as well as other equipment.
Below are some applications for stainless steels 15-5 pH grades:
Section on marine gas turbine compressor
Hollow shaft,
Machinery for the paper mill
Engine parts
Aircraft parts
Gear
Fittings and fasteners
Nuclear reactor assembly
Aerospace structural components
The valve
The shaft and the gear
Petroleum and natural gas components
Nuclear reactor assembly

Storage condition of 15-5 Stainless steel Powder:
A damp reunion could affect 15-5’s powder dispersion and use performance. 15-5 stainless Steel powder should therefore be kept dry and sealed in vacuum packaging. Ti2AlC should also be avoided when under stress.

Shipping and Packing of 15-5 Stainless Steel Powder:
There are many packing options available that depend on the amount of 15-5 stainless-steel powder.
Vacuum packed 15-5 stainless-steel powder packaging:100g, 500g and 1kg/bag. 25 kg/barrel. Or as you request.
15-5 Stainless Steel Powder Shipping: Shipments could be made by sea or air as soon after receipt of payment.
