How does Zirconium Silicide Zi2 powder be made?
The base of this is metal zirconium combined with silicon powder. After the metal zirconium had been pulverized and the silica powder was added, the mixture was put in the graphite furnace. It was heated up to 900 to 1000 °C to start pre-reactions. Next, it was transferred into hydrogen at 1200 °C to produce zirconium silicide.
